Trivia & Necessary Headcanons
- Canon info: Here's his wiki link.
- Names: FakeJack doesn't have his own separate name from Jack (he has no need for one in canon, after all!), so to start, I'll often refer to him as "Jack," potentially even in quotes to emphasise that this isn't the real Jack we're talking about. If CR allows it, he can get a new name tied to whatever game he's in.
- Languages: 5Ds is implied to take place somewhere in Japan, so it's likely FakeJack can speak Japanese. (For memes though he can visually process binary too. Like a jackass.)
- Tag Force 5: FakeJack shows up in Tag Force 5, an entry in a series of spinoff YGO games where you can partake in
datestag duels with various characters in the game. The Tag Force games often elaborate on some less-important character details not shown in the anime, particularly personal likes and dislikes. The same holds true for FakeJack, so I'll be attempting to gauge some of his interests based on what he likes and dislikes in TF5. - Icons: FakeJack, appearing for only two episodes, doesn't run a particularly wide variety of expressions, and all of them in the anime have his helmet on. Additionally, having his TF5 portraits would feel kind of static. As such, I drew my own icons for him. I... had a really fun time doing that, so I hope that's okay.
- Eating: Given that Tag Force 5 includes numerous kinds of food in FakeJack's likes and dislikes, and given that Bruno is shown to be able to eat in the anime, I'm assuming FakeJack can eat as well. I'm taking the liberty of assuming it's all turned to pure energy and just Not Worrying about the rest of it.
- Sex: I refuse to give him any parts like Those, so sex is probably a no-go. He has a mouth and hands though I guess? That's canon!
- Sleeping: He can either enter something of a "sleep mode" like what many electronic devices are capable of, or he can be switched off entirely and require someone to turn him back on.
- Dreaming: Dreaming would require more processing power, and sleeping is meant to... conserve that, so he probably can't dream unless something goes wrong. Sort of like a memory leak on a more literal level, I suppose.
- Injury: FakeJack can feel pain, and he can lose the ability to move parts of his body if they're sufficiently damaged. He can likely remain functioning for much longer than a regular human, though, and wounds that would normally be fatal to a human are likely survivable for him. He can probably remain alive and conscious after being cut in half, for example (though he won't be able to do much).
- Bleeding: Instead of blood, I figure FakeJack has a blackish cooling fluid that keeps him from overheating. Losing enough of this fluid would increase his likelihood of overheating.
- Overheating: Putting sufficient strain on his body, becoming extremely stressed or emotional, or being in high-temperature environments can cause him to overheat. If he does, his body becomes sluggish and unresponsive, and eventually he'll either pass out or he'll burn from the inside-out.
- Unconsciousness: His systems are "offline" for one reason or another, usually either from being turned off or from shutting down automatically to avoid unnecessary system damage (and risk of internal fire, etc); he can be roused either being rebooted by another party or by rebooting automatically in the case of an automatic shutdown.
- Death: Death is a vague concept for a robot. If his body is damaged beyond repair to the point where he cannot be rebooted, he'll probably be considered dead.

- PSLs: I'm incredibly bad at coming up with ideas and staying on top of things, but hit me up if you're interested!
- Smut, etc: I don't do smut RP, but I'll eventually add a link to my kinklist if anyone's... interested in that, I guess.
